Power+Energy, Inc. announces the release to manufacturing of its new Hydrogen Gas Purifier Model 2100. The Model 2100 is designed to provide a cost effective and convenient solution for obtaining a continuous supply of Ultra-Pure Hydrogen (UPH) for use with Gas Chromatographs from the end-users in-house hydrogen gas source. These sources may be liquid hydrogen, industrial cylinder gas, or wet hydrogen from hydrogen generators containing more than 10,000 ppm of water. Whatever the source the final purity levels are better than 99.999999% at flow rates up to 7 liters per minute.This small footprint – 10” x 10” x 8” unit at a weight of only 12 lbs. incorporates a palladium cell technology that does not need to be purged with nitrogen before start up. All surfaces exposed to the ultra-pure hydrogen are made from 316L Stainless Steel and are micro or electro-polished. Power+Energy’s Hydrogen Purifiers are used in laboratories and plants where ultra-pure hydrogen is required for applications involving semiconductor manufacturing, gas chromatography, metallurgy, hydrogenation, catalytic processes, controlled atmospheres, and nuclear research. Locally generated, ultra-pure hydrogen is an ideal source for carrier gas and flame ionization in gas chromatography applications.Specifications:UPH flow rate: >5 SLPM; Hydrogen gas feed inlet = 200 PSIG; UPH outlet 0 PSIG; Hydrogen gas feed purity ~99%; UPH purity 99.999999%; Hydrogen bleed outlet is typically 150 CC per minute at 150 PSIG inlet; Automatic Operation.
